But let me start at the beginning…

I’m just a normal woman – a wife, a mother and chief dog walker. But after years of working for someone else, barely seeing my family and being totally exhausted by the time the weekend arrived with the demands of work, children and life in general, something was about to snap and I knew I simply couldn’t carry on the way I was.

I yearned for a better lifestyle, quality time with my family and friends and a comfortable income. In short, I really wanted to be my own boss. You probably know the feeling. It’s so frustrating. You know there’s a better way to live; you just don’t know how to go about it. This was me.

And then this happened…

I was seriously hacked off with my job in advertising - especially the fact that most of my wages were being spent on the childcare I needed whilst I was actually doing the job - where was the sense in that? So, I got this idea into my head that I wanted to work for myself, from home, doing only the hours that I wanted to do so that I could spend more time with my family, yet still contribute to the household income.

To cut a very long story short, after messing around for ages not really knowing what direction to take (and I might add, being scammed along the way by some unscrupulous online ventures) my husband suggested selling on eBay. As you can probably imagine, this scared me to death as I had never so much as become a member of eBay, let alone bought or sold something. However, I was desperate to leave my job and work for myself so I decided to take the plunge.

It was the best decision I ever made!

I admit it actually took some time to get things exactly right as I really was a complete novice at the start and had to learn from scratch. But over the years, something that I started as a simple business - selling products online - has grown into a business that I take great pride in. A business that I love, and importantly a business that has evolved into a way of me helping you so that you too can benefit from my experience and skills.

I genuinely enjoy helping others to succeed at selling online, whether it’s on eBay, Amazon or from a niche website.
